3A2-4 Sections from all the specimens consist of sheets of histiocytic cells with scattered clusters to microabscesses of eosinophils. The tumor cells have pale eosinophilic to vacuolated cytoplasm and contain grooved vesicular nuclei. The tumor infiltrates the scalp and skull bone with associated reactive changes and further into the epidural space.
