In this section a different field shows fewer ischemic changes and a more prominent neoplastic vascular content. Notice the small capillary size vessels with large intraluminal cells (arrowheads). These neoplastic cells can be mistaken in capillary size vessels for megakaryocytes which can be released under stress. (H&E)
