4E1-7 Use of special stains to characterize the involvement of the spinal cord. 4E1-3 Comparison of routinely stained cervical spinal cord sections (H&E, 4E1), stained for myelin (LFB-PAS, 4E2) and axons (Bielschowsky, 4E3). There is patchy loss of myelin in H&E and LFB-PAS stains accompanied by similar loss of axons in the same distribution.
