5C3 In comparison, non-neoplastic T cells were distributed within the gland in relatively small numbers (CD3 IHC) ---- Furthermore, the intravascular malignant B cells were strongly positive for CD5 and MUM-1 and negative for BCL6 and CD138. The B cell marker, CD20, demonstrates, in contrast to CD3 expression, that the majority of these cells are B lymphocytes that aberrantly express CD5. They are negative for BCL6, typically seen in diffuse large B cell lymphomas, but are positive for MUM1 which has been reported in both intravascular large B cell lymphoma as well as Richter transformations of chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL).
