Case 9 History ---- The patient is a 64 year old woman with a history of numbness in the right third-fifth fingers for approximately one year who recently had numbness and tingling in both hands and muscle aches in both arms. NCV showed slowing with decreased response to stimulation. She has a positive rheumatoid factor at 1 to 320 but was ANA negative. Clinical diagnosis: Myalgia/paresthesia of unknown etiology. Operative procedure: Sural nerve and muscle biopsy.
