9A1,2 Light microscopic examination of the paraffin embedded sural nerve showed a nearly normally axon populated nerve (patchy decrease in large myelinated axons) with a mild increase in endoneurial connective tissue. In addition, a large population of intraluminal malignant cells was demonstrated in the vasa vasorum and endoneurial microvasculature. (H&E)
