1D1,2 There are many areas of ischemic necrosis at the depths of sulci with minute foci of early calcification and scattered mineralized neurons corresponding to the ulegyric pattern seen in the gross images (1A1, arrowheads). Many areas of cortex have very few residual malignant lymphoma cells. This pattern of injury reflects this patient's treatment and superimposed episodes of seizure activity and severe hypoxia/ischemia (H&E)
