10A1,2 Coronal sections of the cerebral hemispheres reveal a rusty colored lesion in the right frontal lobe, surrounded by a ring of dark punctate hemorrhage. There is also a 2cm x 2cm x 2cm mass in the right basal ganglia extending from the caudate to the putamen with an adjacent area of dark discoloration.
