11A1,2 Serial coronal sections of the cerebral hemispheres at l cm intervals show a greenish-brown firm lesion that measures 2.0 x 2.0 x 1.0 cm in the right caudate (arrow, 11A1). There is no obvious necrosis and the border is not hyperemic.
