Serial cross sections of the cerebellum at 3-4 nm intervals show the aqueduct of Sylvius and fourth ventricle to be patent and of normal size. There is a lesion in the right cerebellar dentate nucleus and vermis that measures 2.0 x 1.0 x 1.0 cm and appears grossly identical to the forebrain lesion.
