1B1 Lymphoma, B cell (Case 1) H&E 9.jpg
1B1,2 H&E stained tumor tissue shows a poorly differentiated malignant neoplasm with areas of geographic necrosis. The tumor cells have a solid growth pattern in some places and are discohesive; however, in others there is a predilection for perivascular growth within the Virchow-Robin spaces. The tumor cells are pleomorphic, large, and have scant to no discernible cytoplasm with numerous mitotic figures.
