2A5,6 Histologic examination of the white matter lesions seen grossly show a mostly necrotic malignant lymphoid neoplasm composed of large atypical lymphocytes with irregular nuclear contours in an angiocentric pattern and show increased mitotic activity. Scattered small, mature appearing lymphocytes are also present. (H&E)
