14A1,2 At autopsy the weight of the unfixed brain is 1360 g. The coronal sections of the cerebral hemispheres, brainstem and cerebellum show, at best, subtle discoloration but no mass lesions. The neoplastic process affects primarily the central nervous system and is not found in other organ systems.
