21B Lymphoma (Case 21) H&E 1
The specimen consists of multiple fragments of gliotic brain parenchyma involved by a neoplasm with an angiocentric distribution. The neoplastic cells have large, highly atypical pleomorphic nuclei, irregular chromatin, multiple nucleoli and modest cytoplasm. Mitotic figures, including atypical forms, are numerous. Accompanying these cells is a second population of non-neoplastic appearing lymphocytes.
