The callosal lesion consists of sheets of large, dyscohesive tumor cells with mildly pleomorphic, irregular nuclei, vesiculated chromatin, one or more prominent nucleoli, and scant eosinophilic cytoplasm. Intermixed with these tumor cells at variable density are reactive lymphocytes and foamy macrophages.
