4B2-6 Multiple images show a cellular proliferation composed predominantly of lymphocytes with scattered eosinophils and large atypical cells in a fibrotic background. The large cells have abundant slightly basophilic cytoplasm and at least 2 nuclei. The nuclei are often large, rounded in contour with prominent, irregular nuclear membrane, pale chromatin and a prominent eosinophilic nucleolus. These features are characteristic of Reed-Sternberg cells.
