The T-cell marker CD3 highlights rare scattered, mature-appearing lymphocytes. In situ hybridization for Epstein Barr virus encoded RNA (EBER) is negative.---- Comment: The histologic and immunohistochemical pattern of this neoplasm is consistent with diffuse large B-cell lymphoma. However, its location within the corpus callosum is more suggestive of primary CNS lymphoma rather than a systemic lymphoma secondarily invading the CNS. Nonetheless, without a more precise description of the patient's previously diagnosed non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, the latter possibility cannot be completely excluded.
