2A0 Case 2 History
Case 2 History ---- The patient is a 55 year old woman who presented with a several month history of progressive confusion and ataxia accompanied by headaches that have become more severe recently. Imaging studies revealed extensive areas of abnormal FLAIR and T2 signal abnormalities involving the cerebral hemispheres bilaterally, including the basal ganglia. A biopsy was performed to rule out the possibility of gliomatosis cerebri. The MRI exam was reviewed here, years ago, but images are no longer available.
