Higher magnification of the epidural spinal tumor shows neoplastic cells with plasmacytoid features and a sheetlike growth pattern. The neoplastic cells are angulated, epithelioid, and have irregularly shaped round nuclei with granular to clumped chromatin that also contain small cherry-red nucleoli. (H&E)
