Case 14 History ---- The patient was an 85 year old man with a remote history of colon cancer with a recent a lytic lesion in the T2 vertebral body. Operative procedure: T2 corpectomy and excision of tumor. ---- 14A1-3 Sections of the specimen show a neoplasm composed of sheets of mature and immature plasma cells. Direct invasion of bone fragments by this tumor is noted.
