Case 4 History ---- The patient is a 69-year-old man with ongoing weakness, abnormal sensation in his legs, radiating back pain, and sigmoid volvulus. Spine CT revealed a lytic lesion centered within the left aspect of the T6 vertebral body with soft tissue density extending into the epidural canal and through the left T6-T7 neural foramina contacting the left pleura. Operative procedure: Posterior thoracic decompression and reconstruction for T6-7 thoracic tumor. ---- 4A1-4 MRI Scans: 4A1 This STIR scan demonstrates a hyperintense mass involving the T6-7 vertebral body and adjacent vertebral canal.
