Sections reveal a cellular dura-based neoplasm with multiple appearances. In the more differentiated regions, the tumor resembles an atypical meningothelial and microcystic meningioma, WHO grade II. Classic meningothelial cytology is seen in this component, although there are macronucleoli, focal sheeting architecture, and increased mitotic figures.
