A whole mount H&E section of the tumor mass from the left temporal lobe shows a meningeal neoplasm spreading in the subarachnoid space with whorls and a second pattern consisting of spindled, pleomorphic sarcoma. Areas show tumor infiltration along the Virchow-Robin spaces at all levels of the neuraxis and, in areas, neuroaxial parenchymal single cell invasion.
