23B1-4 This is a poorly differentiated malignant neoplasm with prominent papillary to pseudopapillary architecture and large areas of associated hemorrhage. The tumor cells have abundant eosinophilic cytoplasm with marked pleomorphism; the nuclei are vesicular with most of them containing macronucleoli. An occasional nucleus has intranuclear cytoplasmic pseudo-inclusions. Mitoses are frequent and the count, focally, reaches up to 24/10HPF.
