3B1,2 The tumor shows a meningothelial proliferation arranged in vaguely a fascicular to nodular to a patternless pattern. The cells themselves are characterized by eosinophilic processes and syncytial cytoplasmic borders, with ovoid nuclei and granular chromatin. Prominent nucleoli, small cell change, necrosis and hypercellularity are observed. Mitotic activity is 21 mitoses/10HPF. Some reactive glial tissue, adjacent to tumor, is identified.
