11B1 Meningioma, angiomatous (Case 11) H&E WM
11B1-9 Sections show a spindle cell neoplasm, the cellular component of which is organized into thin fascicles and rare whorled configurations between an extensive vascular component. Most of these vessels have thick, hyalinized walls. Occasional examples of spontaneous necrosis are seen. A few areas of small cell changes are seen in the tumor. No other atypical features are present. Mitotic figures are very infrequent. ---- Whole mount of the H&E stained specimen.
