The tumor shows predominantly chordoid histology; only focal areas appear fibrous/fibroblastic. The tumor exhibits multiple atypical features, including hypercellularity, macronucleoli, small cell change, and limited spontaneous necrosis (broad areas of bland necrosis also abound, consistent with history of gamma knife radiosurgery at this site).
