Case 14 History ---- The patient was a 79 year old woman with a history of recurrent left meningioma. Operative procedure: Left craniotomy for tumor resection. ---- 14A1,2 This is a hypercellular neoplasm consisting of cells with uniform round to oval, vesicular nuclei, with intranuclear clearing and occasional prominent nucleoli. Tumor cells have a moderate amount of eosinophilic to clear cytoplasm and the cells are arranged in sheets with occasional suggestion of whorling. Occasional mitoses are identified.
