Washington University Experience | NEOPLASMS (MENINGIOMA) | Meningioma - Fibrous | 10B Meningioma (Case 10) EMA
10B Immunohistochemical stains were performed and demonstrate widespread reactivity of tumor cells for EMA. ---- Not shown: Rare tumor cells show progesterone receptor expression. The tumor cells are negative for CD34, although the tumor vasculature shows expected strong reactivity. The Ki-67 labeling index is low to moderate (reaching ~ 6.25% in some areas). ---- Comment: The overall morphological and immunohistochemical findings are consistent with meningioma (WHO grade I).
