2C1,2 Large numbers of psammoma bodies accompany an area of spindled tumor. Mitoses are scant with a mitotic count of 1/10HPF. Scattered chronic inflammatory cells are also seen. There is no sheet-like growth and macronucleoli are not readily identified; scattered small cell areas are noted. (H&E)
