2C3 Although most of the tumor is composed of fibrous meningioma, there are interspersed islands of meningothelial tumor cells. (H&E) ---- Not shown: There is patchy positivity for progesterone receptor (PR) and a low proliferation index of 1.5% on the Ki67 immunostain. Taken together, the histomorphologic findings are consistent with a meningioma, WHO grade I.
