8B1-4 This is a spindle cell neoplasm composed of cells with ovoid nuclei, inconspicuous nucleoli, and moderate amounts of eosinophilic cytoplasm. Most of the tumor cells and are arranged predominantly in fascicles. Mitotic figures are scattered (1/10HPF). Other atypical features, e.g. sheeting architecture, small cell change, macronucleoli, and hypercellularity, are not appreciated. A rare focus of spontaneous necrosis is noted. (H&E)
