The tumor is less compelling for Schwannoma when immunostained for collagen IV. ---- Not shown: Rare scattered tumor cells show reactivity for progesterone receptor. CD34 highlights only blood vessels. Ki-67 immunoreactivity reveals a proliferation index of approximately 1.6%. ---- The histopathological and immunohistochemical findings are consistent with meningioma, WHO grade I.
