Case 12 History ---- The patient was an 81 year old female who developed a myocardial infarct, right and left toe and fingertip gangrene and terminal sepsis. ---- At autopsy the unfixed brain weighed 1100g. There was a large (4X3 cm) meningioma compressing the frontal and parietal lobes with a 4 x 3.2 cm meningioma depressing the cortex, again with thinning of underlying cerebral cortex and pallor of underlying white matter
