15C1,2 Sections show a high grade tumor. The tumor has a biphasic pattern. ---- The first pattern consists of the cells having a sheet-like epithelioid appearance. Some tumor cells have abundant eosinophilic cytoplasm, exhibit severe pleomorphism including some bizarre forms and have prominent nucleoli. In places there is brisk mitotic activity reaching up to 17/10 HPF and resemble frank carcinoma. Numerous tiny foci of necrosis are also notable.
