26B1,2 The tumor cells are spindled to epithelioid, with ovoid nuclei, inconspicuous nucleoli, occasional intranuclear clearing and pseudoinclusions, with moderate amounts of eosinophilic cytoplasm, and rare mitoses without brain invasion, consistent with meningioma, WHO grade I. In this case tumor approaches the cortex without significant underlying cortical pathology.
