Case 42 History ---- The patient was a 60 year old woman with a history of breast and lung carcinoma, who presents with a dural-based brain mass. Operative procedure: Right frontal craniotomy for tumor resection. ---- The tumor has a typical appearance of a meningioma viewed externally and in cross section. Its microscopic appearance confirmed a meningioma, WHO grade I.
