Case 7 History ---- This 82-year-old female developed memory decline which progressed slowly over the next 13 years. Although her short-term memory was poor, but she was able to maintain many other areas of cognition. The clinical cause of death was myocardial infarction. ---- 7A1-3 At autopsy the fresh brain weighed 900g. An incidental small WHO Grade I meningioma was found compressing the right frontal lobe. ---- The meningioma shows an origin from the dura and has a smooth spherical surface.
