Case 5 History ---- The patient was a 67 year old man with a dural based mass. Clinical diagnosis: Rule out meningioma. ---- 5A1-4 Sections of the left frontal lobe tumor show a cellular neoplasm consisting of polygonal epithelioid cells admixed with spindle cells that grow in whorls and sheets. There is also abundant hyalinized stroma. In addition, areas of microcystic changes can be seen throughout. (H&E)
