The tumor grows mostly in sheets and nodules, focally showing a papillary pattern. Additionally, there are prominent perivascular structures with nuclear free zones resembling the perivascular pseudorosettes seen in ependymomas. Focal areas show small cell features. Scattered mitotic figures are seen, reaching up to 8/10HPF with focal necrosis. (H&E)
