Perivascular pseudorosettes and pseudopapillary formations are common. Mitoses are identified and number 4/10 high power fields at maximum (2007 specimen). Tumor cells contain abundant well delineated eosinophilic cytoplasm. The tumor cells involved in the perivascular pseudorosettes have a broad based attachment to their respective blood vessels and accordingly take on a cuboidal to columnar morphology.
