Washington University Experience | NEOPLASMS (MENINGIOMA) | Psammomatous | 4A1 Meningioma (Case 4)
Case 4 History ---- The patient was a 79 year old woman with a history of endometrial adenocarcinoma. A staging hysterectomy in 12/92 showed that the tumor had been entirely excised by biopsy and that the adnexae and pelvic lymph nodes were free of tumor. In 2/96, three years after her hysterectomy, she underwent a right lower lobectomy for a poorly differentiated adenocarcinoma that abutted but did not penetrate the pleural surface. Additional problems with cardiac disease led to her demise. ---- 4A At autopsy the parasagittal meningioma was an incidental finding.
