20B Rhabdoid meningioma (Case 20) GFAP 40X 1
GFAP immunohistochemistry shows brain invasion (GFAP IHC) ---- Additional data (not shown): An immunohistochemical stain for progesterone receptor is negative. ---- Although the mitotic rate is generally low (1-2 mitoses per 10 high power field) and the MIB-1 (Ki-67) immunostain indicates a generally low proliferative index, the morphologic features described above, as well as the evidence of brain invasion indicate that this lesion should be categorized as an atypical meningioma with brain invasion and focal rhabdoid morphology, WHO Grade 2
