Case 3 History ---- The patient was a 12-year-old girl with neurofibromatosis type II and multiple cranial and spinal tumors. In November 2015 she underwent C2-C5 laminectomies for resection of a large schwannoma. A year later she presented for resection of a 3.2 cm, T2 hyperintense, homogenously enhancing extra-axial left anterior clinoid based mass centered in the planum sphenoidale. Operative procedure: Stealth-guided left frontotemporal craniotomy with posterior orbitotomy, optic canal osteotomy and left anterior clinoidectomy, with intraoperative MRI. ---- 3A1,2 MRI studies ---- This T1-weighted contrast administered scan shows a contrast enhancing tumor involving the caudal portion of the left orbit.
