Case 16 History ---- The patient was a 74 year old man. He was in his usual state of health when he developed mental status changes, expressive aphasia and somnolence. CT revealed a probable meningioma of left frontal region. Operative procedure: Craniotomy for tumor. Clinical diagnosis: Left frontal mass. ---- 16A1,2 Tumor cells are positive for cytokeratin (16A1,2), epithelial membrane antigen and carcinoembryonic antigen, consistent with secretory meningioma. There are large islands of labeled cells.
