Case 11 History ---- The patient is a 62 year old man with a medial sphenoid wing lesion. Clinical diagnosis: Brain tumor. Operative procedure: Excision. ----
11A1-3 Sections show a meningioma. The neoplasm shows numerous whorls and scattered psammoma bodies and is composed of uniform cells with intranuclear cytoplasmic invaginations. Mitotic figures are difficult to find. There is no evidence of necrosis.
