Case 3 History ---- The patient was a 54-year-old male with seizures and history of papillary thyroid carcinoma status-post radiation. She subsequently was found to have multiple dural based intracranial masses. ---- 3A1-4 This is a dural based tumor tissue composed of fascicles and whorls of epithelioid to spindle-shaped cells with vesicular nuclei, and eosinophilic cytoplasm. Scattered mitotic figures are identified with up to 3/10HPF. Focal areas of increased cellularity, sheeting, macronucleoli, and necrosis are seen.
