Case 4 History ---- The patient is a 75 year old man with a history of atrial fibrillation who is status post resection of prostatic cancer. The patient presented for resection of a left temporal mass. Clinical diagnosis: Left temporal lesion. Operative procedure: Craniotomy for left temporal lesion. ---- 4A1-3 The tumor has two predominant cell populations. One population consists of spindle cells with a small quantity of eosinophilic cytoplasm and uniform oval nuclei with delicately reticulated chromatin. The second and less abundant population consist of meningothelial cells with indistinct cellular borders, moderate quantity of eosinophilic cytoplasm and nuclei similar to that of the spindle cell population.
