The tumor has two predominant cell populations. One population consists of spindle cells with a small quantity of eosinophilic cytoplasm and uniform oval nuclei with delicately reticulated chromatin. The second and less abundant population consist of meningothelial cells with indistinct cellular borders, moderate quantity of eosinophilic cytoplasm and nuclei similar to that of the spindle cell population.
