Case 5 History ---- The patient is a 71-year-old woman with right frontal extra-axial dural based enhancing tumor. Operative procedure: Resection. ---- 5A1,2 This is a meningothelial neoplasm with a prominent whorled growth pattern and containing patchy areas of collagen deposition. The tumor cells are spindled in many areas and, in others, polygonal with ill-defined cytoplasmic membranes, eosinophilic cytoplasm and vesicular nuclei.
